About Us

Marwah Elimam is a fashion designer, artist, children’s book author and illustrator, as well as a music composer who graduated with a B.F.A in fashion and fine art from the Academy of Art College in San Francisco, California. Her passion to paint with strong brushstrokes and her use of mixed media in her art is inspired by different artistic movements such as art deco, the raphaelites , impressionists and one of her favorite artists, Gustave Klimt, who was inspired by ancient Egyptian motifs and Japanese art.

In particular, her ideas for fashion and art derive from many artistic movements, history, films, textures, architecture, her travels, and cultures. She takes a vintage yet innovative approach to her work, which is about femininity and beauty with contrasting elements such as the abstract versus the organic as well as the classic with the modern.
